Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 September 2026
These Terms govern access to and use of Framo, operated by Maurice Djellal, Entrepreneur individuel (auto-entreprise), established in France (39 rue de Vergennes, 78000 Versailles). The service is offered worldwide.
1. The service
Framo is software-as-a-service that turns a description of an iPhone app into a working app: it asks a few questions, shows a free preview of the app’s main screens, builds the app, tests it, lets you change it by chat or by editing it directly, and guides you through publishing it on the App Store with your own Apple Developer account. Features may change as the product improves.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 16 (or the higher age of digital consent where you live) and able to enter into a binding contract. Accounts are created with Google or with a code sent by email. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping access to it secure.
3. Plans, credits and pricing
- The free plan includes one preview of your app per person. Building and changing apps requires a paid plan.
- Paid plans include a monthly amount of credits. Each build or change uses credits according to its size, and each App Store build (the signed app sent to Apple) uses a fixed amount shown before it starts; the usage is shown in the product. Unused credits do not roll over.
- Paid plans are recurring subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly as chosen, at the price shown at checkout, through Stripe. They renew automatically until canceled.
- VAT: Framo is under the French “franchise en base” regime: VAT is not applicable (article 293 B of the French General Tax Code), and invoices say so. If tax rules change for your situation or ours, checkout reflects the applicable tax.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time from the billing portal to stop future renewals; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise, fees already charged for a period are not refundable. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you cannot waive.
5. Digital service and right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU, you normally have 14 days from subscribing to withdraw without giving a reason. Because Framo is a digital service that starts as soon as you subscribe, the checkout asks you to request that it starts right away and to acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once it has started (article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code). If you did not give that consent, you may withdraw within 14 days by writing to [email protected], and we refund the amount paid, minus the part of the period already used.
6. Your apps and your content
- You keep the rights to your descriptions and to the apps you build with Framo. You may publish and sell them, and you keep 100% of the revenue they earn; Framo takes no share.
- You grant Framo a license to host, process and display your content only to provide the service (including sending it to the AI provider that generates your apps).
- You are responsible for what your apps contain and do, for your Apple Developer account, and for complying with Apple’s guidelines and the laws that apply to your apps. Framo’s App Review check is guidance, not a guarantee that Apple will approve an app.
- You must not use Framo to create unlawful, infringing or harmful apps, or try to abuse or overload the service.
7. AI-generated results
Apps are generated by AI and tested automatically, but results are probabilistic: they can contain errors, may resemble other apps, and may need a fix. Review your app before publishing or relying on it commercially.
8. Intellectual property
Framo’s software, brand and documentation remain the property of Framo or its licensors. Subject to these Terms, you may use the apps you create for any lawful purpose.
9. Availability and changes
We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted. Published apps run on your users’ phones and keep working whatever your plan. We may change or discontinue features, with reasonable notice when practicable.
10. Termination
You can ask for your account to be deleted at any time by writing to [email protected]. We may suspend or close an account for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or a risk to the service. On deletion, your data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Framo is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or loss of profits, data or business opportunities. Our total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid to Framo in the three months before the claim, except where liability cannot be limited (including mandatory consumer protections).
12. Governing law and disputes
French law applies. Consumers in the EU/EEA keep the mandatory protections of their country of residence. Before any claim, contact [email protected] to try to resolve it amicably. Consumer mediator: an application for membership is in progress; the mediator’s details will be published once approved. EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
